In the previous workshop, we saw how we can reduce the flood of channels in dreamboxEDIT somewhat. So now we can finally start filling our “Favorites” bouquet with our favorite programs.

If you feel that something is missing in terms of innovation here, just take a look at your TV magazine as a template. At my house, for example, the favorites list was only accepted after the daily program overview in the TV magazine was reflected in the program order in the box. First, we select a bouquet in the window on the far right (usually the standard bouquet “Favorites”).

The contents of this bouquet now appear in the middle window. If we want to add more channels to this bouquet, we select the channels in the left window and drag them into the middle window with the left mouse button pressed. Of course, it is also possible to select multiple channels using the familiar Windows function (CTRL+left mouse button). In my opinion, it takes too much time to make sure they are added in the correct order.

First, copy all the channels you want and then arrange them in the order you want within the bouquet in the middle window. To stick with the example, select via channel list functions, then add all the channels you want from a provider to the bouquet and tidy them up later. We can achieve even more clarity within a bouquet by using “markers.” Think of these as article headings, which are also displayed in the bouquet list on your box. This makes it very easy to add structure to large bouquets.
If you would prefer to create another bouquet, e.g. to move rarely used channels, please note that the “Allow multiple bouquets” function must be enabled on the box in Menu->Settings->System->Customize. If you want to switch to the first channel of the next user bouquet at the end of a user bouquet when zapping through your user bouquet, set the “Switch bouquet during quick zap” option to yes in the same menu.
