This website was created with the permission of author and developer @dhwz. It offers the download of dreamboxEDIT as well as a multi-page quick-start guide. This is a private project with no commercial background.
dreamboxEDIT is a Windows channel list editor for all Enigma(2)-based boxes. Through continuous development it has become the best-known Windows software for Linux-based set-top boxes. Its feature set includes:
- User bouquet editing
- Picon management (channel logos)
- TV streaming to PC
- Editing key files such as satellites.xml
- Parental control functions via Enigma2
- IPTV channel integration into user bouquets
All Enigma(2)-based boxes run a Linux kernel and can be controlled via API commands through the integrated web interface or via Telnet/SSH. Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge and a router with DHCP support are required.
